Join us next Tuesday to decorate Silverstone's TEEN ZONE for Summer Reading! And don't forget to drop off your poster for the Summer Reading contest deadline the same day.

The Lit Lounge Pick is...

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaimen is an excellent choice. We have TEEN BOOK CLUB copies available for you, so stop by this week and get one. We will meet on June 8th to talk about it.
Also for your audio/video pleasure you can listen to Neil read his own book, chapter by chapter at this website.

Need something to do now that school has wound down? Can you feel your creative juices flowing? Why don't you enter Silverstone's Summer Reading Poster contest!!

1st Prize: $10 Gap gift card

Now that you know what's in it for you, here's what to do.

Guidelines:
1. Ages 12-18 may participate
2. Must depict 2010 Summer Reading's theme of "Make Waves"
3. Must be participant's original art work

The deadline for turning in your poster is June 1st, which also happens to be the first official day of the Summer Reading program. Remember you can pick up a reading log at your library or visit the website to print it off at home.
