In February we're going to switch back to all teens, ages 12-18 will meet up on Tuesdays. We will still alternate between T.A.C. and Lit Lounge but the age groups won't be split. So I repeat, no more Thursday programs for teens. Aight.

So I've got a lot to update.

Upcoming!!!

So Tuesday's teens chose something new for their Lit Lounge pick; Tales from Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan, a graphic novel! There are plenty of copies in the treasure valley but be sure to secure a copy as soon as you can.

We also reviewed some book trailers online yesterday. In the month of February, you will film your own book trailer which we will show on our digital screen at the library. You'll have the chance to share a book and entice others to read it by putting your ideas into motion. If you're looking for some examples I suggest you visit digitalbooktalk.com. Its a good idea to watch book trailers of books you have read and ones you haven't. Assess the ones that make you want to read the book and the ones that don't. Try and figure out what each has or doesn't that makes it effective.

Also, this Thursday the older group will be making their Lit Lounge pick, so be sure to stop by and put in your two cents.
